Jean-François Bergeron
Profile
Due to various injuries that riddled him all throughout his professional boxing career, Jean-Francois was forced to find an alternate source of income “in case” his boxing career was cut short. Showing just as much enthusiasm and dedication in school as he does in the ring, J-F tackled and conquered Firefighter school, and is now a fully licensed Firefighter in Laval, Quebec.
J-F’s true passion remains boxing. After losing his first fight at the hands of WBA world champion giant Nicolay Valuev in 2007 in an extremely respectable 12-round counter punching demonstration, J-F had a very tough 2008. He was injured for most of the year and had to contend with “ring rust” in his only fight of 2008 which resulted in a loss to former title contender Dominick Guinn.
However, in the Heavyweight division, a boxer is one fight away from glory and J-F will not give up on his dream to one day win a world title. His record of 25-2-0, 19 KO is more than respectable, and InterBox will use every resource at its disposal to get J-F on the winning track again.
Pro Record: 27-2-0, 19 KO
